Why the Manningtree Earth Festival?
Climate change and biodiversity loss are the defining challenges of our time β and they can feel overwhelming. The Manningtree Earth Festival exists to show that action is possible, that community matters, and that discovering what we can do together is genuinely exciting.
We're part of PACE Manningtree β a registered charity run by local volunteers, committed to nurturing a thriving, low-carbon future for our community. The festival brings that mission to life through five weeks of events that inform, inspire and connect.
The Manningtree Earth Festival is run entirely by volunteers. The festival is coordinated by the team at PACE Manningtree, and most of the individual events are organised and delivered by community members who have given their time freely. Most businesses and presenters involved have also donated their services to help keep the vast majority of events entirely free to attend.
If you've enjoyed the festival and would like to help PACE continue and develop more local projects, donations are very welcome. Please visit www.pacemanningtree.org.uk to find out more.
